Who are we

We are the UoD official Musician and Band society! We plan to give help to people looking to join a group project, create a band or find a platform for their solo careers. We’ll aim to introduce everyone to one another through our incredible socials, jam sessions and pre planned gigs! This is the prefect society for you if you enjoy making any type of music!

 

Events for the coming year

Throughout this year, we aim to host multiple different types of events!

• Numerous gigs at Dubrek Studios, where all members will get a chance to perform!
• Open mic nights across many different venues in Derby.
• Karaoke charity fundraisers.
• Jamming sessions each week.
• Song writing sessions monthly.
• Opportunities to perform at the University.
• Producer nights where you can come and play any tracks you’ve produced yourself! These will also be at Dubrek Studios.
• Our final event of the year “battle of the musicians”!
• Socials! We will have many different socials throughout the year including both sober and non sober events!
