Global Campus
Global Campus is the overarching campaign that encompasses our work to welcome our international students to the University.
Every year, we work collaboratively with the University of Derby to put on events specifically for international students which aim to instil a sense of community and belonging.
Global Gathering
Global Gathering is our big bi-annual event where we welcome international students to the Union of Students, and the University of Derby. You can meet our Student Activities, Advice, and Voice teams, and learn how we can help you to make the most of your university experience. Usually, Global Gathering events follow our Freshers and Welcome periods so whether you are joining us in September or January, you won’t miss out!
Global Café
In 2023, we launched a monthly Global Café to continue building a sense of community throughout the year. Based at our Britannia Mill site, our pop-up Global Café happens every month, so come along and grab a free hot drink, snack, and meet other students and make lifelong friends.
