All Student Meeting

The Union holds an All Student Meeting (ASM) every year. In this meeting, amongst other things, our Executive Officers deliver their annual reports and policy is voted upon.

Any member of the Union may attend the ASM, and vote upon any policy within that meeting. Members will also get an opportunity to speak for or against policy that is up for vote.

Next ASM – 10th February 2025, 10.30am - 12.30pm, online

This event will be held online online via Microsoft Teams.

How to vote on the proposals

Ideally you would attend ASM and vote on the day so that you can hear the discussions around the proposals in full. You can attend online or in person and the information on how to do this is above.

If you can’t make it on the day there are two other ways to vote:

  1. Vote on our proposals by ‘postal vote’. This means you send in your votes ahead of the AGM and cannot change them, even if you then decide to attend the AGM. To vote by ‘postal vote’ please complete this form by 10.30am on 10th February.
  2. Nominate someone to vote in the room on your behalf. They will be your proxy voter. This person will attend the ASM (online or in-person) and vote for you. Please note that one person can only vote on behalf of a maximum of five people. To nominate someone to vote on your behalf as your proxy voter please complete the online form by 9.00am on 10th February.
