    I feel It would be really beneficial if students could access free Hot water from blends and the canteens at all campuses. Most students I have spoken to said it would help them save money and still have the hot drinks and some foods that require hot water. I'm sure this could be easily done.

11:22pm on 25 Sep 18 The cafe at Markeaton Street charges 30p if you ask for hot water and want to nab their milk and sugar. That’s fair enough in my opinion and might be something they could trial.

9:06pm on 23 Oct 18 The hot water dispenser at BM is no longer out and available. The cafeteria staff has taken it back behind the counter making it difficult to access, especially when it is busy and of course when they close at 5pm (a great tea time).

10:44pm on 23 Oct 18 Hot water access is essential. Particularly for those of us who do a ten hour day of study with 4 hours of travel on top of that. If the machine is felt to be unsafe then why not make a kettle available out of hours?

9:34am on 29 Oct 18 Surely the same could be said about a kettle? Anything that could cause harm if used improperly should not be left unattended. As someone said above, if you are using it in exchange for items like milk and sugar, that is a fair trade. However, if you are bringing noodles knowing that there might be a chance that you can't eat them due to a lack of hot water, why are you bringing the noodles?!
