Having an area on campus for those students who have a long commute, would allow them to recuperate when they have a long gap between lectures. It would also allow for students to have a rest break whilst studying.

9:52am on 26 Oct 18 There are comfy bean bags at 67 Bridge Street study space which could be used for this.

10:30am on 18 Nov 18 Would also be good for wellbeing. The day for my MA course is 9:30-6:30 so even a quieter space other than the refectory at Brit Mill would also be appreciated.

7:52pm on 28 Feb 19 This would be a progressive move, especially where businesses are increasingly offering such facilities today. It would also make the university more accessible to others, either due to the extreme lengths of commutes/class times or because of health and disability issues. It ought to be considered something that is a basic essential. Ked Rd public environments in particular, are not restful or conducive of well-being, due to high levels of sensory stimulation, noises, movement and even smells. Rather than being recuperative, this environment is somewhat damaging. As most students are around during the poorer weather months, there aren't even any outdoor areas that are usable during bad weather (rain, cold, wind, snow etc) if you want to get fresh air, as a break from the lack of a restful environment in Ked Rd. The option for use of the multi-faith centre is limited, as this is perceived as a toxic environment for many or alien to their nature. The univesity seems eager to take and very reluctant to give back.
