      I have seen in other universities this program, and it works very well. It gives the new students confidence and a way into independent learning at University; it also gives the senior students confidence in the material, plus something to put on the CV and extra pocket money. It is a great scheme, and I think the University of Derby should implement it, attached to the Learning support services. https://portal.uea.ac.uk/student-support-service/learning-enhancement/pal
