    Library Works Update and noise levels in library

    An update and timescale should be provided to students of when the library works will be completed. It's currently very disruptive especially as there are limited seating areas in the Red Zone for study. Noise is also travelling up from the Amber and Green Zones below. Is there also a way of staff monitoring Amber zones? Currently it's often used loudly and other students don't want to ask their piers to lower their voices.

8:29am on 25 Oct 19 HI, thanks for your comment. We are sorry for the continued disruption being caused by the roofing works in the library. Unfortunately after stripping off the old roof covering we have found additional problems with gutters and drainage which has slowed everything down while we investigate & rectify. However, we have now finished the roofing (the noisy works) leaving only repairs to drainage which should be a lot quieter. Thanks for tolerating the disruption – we are very sorry for how long this has taken to sort out!
