Resources are seldom made available until last minute. I feel like it would be extremely beneficial for resources to be made available up to two weeks before each module begins to enable students to have a good understanding on what they are due to be studying, giving them time to prepare for the oncoming semesters. Even if these were working documents (I understand that lecturers have to update all modules and this takes time).

i think this is something that can be discussed with the tutors. one of my tutors is posting the module info days, sometimes a week ahead. tbh i wouldn't have time to be 2 weeks ahead with the lectures, but you do have access to weekly teaching planning and you can do research on your own on the recommended reading list.

Weekly teaching is always uploaded (or definitely should be) this is purely for module handbook resources being available prior to starting so there is more of an idea about the module and gives time for students to plan, collate ideas, read around the subject etc. This is particularly essential for joint honours students as the first week literally feels like an onslaught of information, but also would be beneficial for single honours to enable them to prepare for the coming semester - not all modules or courses do this and not all modules or courses have a reading list that is accessible prior to starting the module
