    sometimes you don't want to carry a laptop round the library looking for somewhere to sit, sometimes it is much easier to borrow a laptop from the library and sometimes during the busy period an ipad is the only option, however if your documents are on google drive and you wanted to edit them, your unable to due to the lack of the google docs app or access to Microsoft word so you have to spend more time attempting to access a desktop or wait for someone to return a laptop.
