    Free Adobe Tech Pack for Design Students

    The Adobe Pack is an necessity for all Design Students and now costs almost 17 pounds a month and is not included with our course fees. We are required to have this type of technology to complete our Uni work and some students have borrowed this free package from other Universities friends who get this or they have to borrow more money to get them through their course.

4:31pm on 29 Nov 19 I saw two polls on this last year, one which passed 25 votes, heard nothing. I've emailed IT services about this, they said they'll work on it. I raised it at a student rep meeting last year. They better sort this out ASAP because now my first membership year is up so now it's standard cost of 24 quid a month and of course there's no way I'm paying that. Trying to cancel membership right now and even that isn't a straightforward process for me, smh

I live at home so I would be lost without it on my own laptop, my student membership has run out and now I have to pay £24 a month for something that’s essential to my course! They have given it us free for 2 months while it’s online learning so why not all year round!

7:30pm on 30 Apr 20 Thanks all for your ideas which are actively taken into account by the Union of Student Executive Committee. Due to the current COVID-19 situation, the Union of Students are facing unprecedented financial times with the closure of our commercial outlets. As a result a number of Union staff have been placed on furlough leave and our Full TIme Officers are responding directly to student voice related to the impact of COVID-19 on student wellbeing and experience. During this time we cannot hold a summit to review ideas and in the short term it is unlikely unrelated ideas will be actioned. They will however not be forgotten, remain live and will be returned to whenever we are able. We appreciate your patience.
