The disabled parking at the University (particularly kedelston road) is not great and there are very limited parking spaces (and some of these are taken up by university vans!). This is something that needs to be looked at - as well as introducing sunflower permits/spaces for students who may need to park closer but do not qualify for a Blue Badge (that are extremely difficult to obtain). This would make the university more accessible and inclusive for all! - Cerys Bacon PTO Disabilities :)

In addition to this, the disabled bays near the Union entrance are great but the new barrier force those of us with mobility problems to then walk down to the main entrance and then walk back and forth on the ramp or brave the stairs. Either a gap in the fence to access the ramp or being able to access through the Union entrance in the same way that you can exit there would be amazing. With regard to the Sunflower spaces... great idea but these should be in addition to Blue Badge spaces so those with BB's can still access the limited spaces available. It would also be great to have a downloadable map - even better an interactive map that shows the spaces at each site and if interactive which are free to assist better accesibility.
