Currently, as a Joint Honours student, I have noticed that only one of my lecturers makes it mandatory for us to wipe our desks down after our on-campus session with paper and antibacterial spray. I understand that it is down to the students and staff to do this to stop the spread of the coronavirus within the university, however, if only one of my courses is making this mandatory, it makes me wonder how many other people have sat at desks and don't disinfect it after, if not being told to.

I agree. Lecture staff on my course have told us it is mandatory for us to wipe down our desks, both at the beginning AND the end of every session! Yet other courses do not do this. It takes a few seconds to do and it really should be a health and safety requirement given current circumstances!
