For many disabled students, their health conditions mean they are not able to work in the same way as other students. Assuming disabled students are able to physically come into university the same as other students is ableist. We must introduce (once we are safely allowed back on campus) flexible attendance; if disabled students are unable to come to lectures due to their condition they should be able to access all of their modules online (Lectures, Seminars, Workshops etc.).

I am not disabled myself however as someone who has friends and close family members who are disabled, I agree that this is ableist. I think flexible attendance is really necessary, especially for someone who suffers with an illness such as ME or Chronic fatigue.

I had no idea this wasn't already a thing. Something that should definitely be implemented to protect people that struggle to access face to face content!
