Covid-19 has not disappeared, but all safety protocols surrounding the virus seem to have. Student's are attending with symptoms, without wearing masks and lecturers have been given no clear guidance on what they can do in these situations. Many of us have vulnerable people at home or are vulnerable ourselves and we deserve to feel safe while paying for our education. Put the safety of paying students first and make mask wearing in lectures compulsory again.

https://www.change.org/p/university-of-derby-mandatory-masks-in-lectures-university-of-derby If you support please also add your name onto this petition- the aim is to take it to university exec level. We can choose to access public areas of the university such as the Atrium, but we are unable to choose to distance learn, as such we have no option but to attend our lectures in person and risk getting coronavirus.

I would not like to wear a mask, but as the cold season is coming and as cases will increase, I agree and will put too my cohorts JHS. It is only 9-10 hours a week to save life's (minus library so some spaces away from people should be exempt)
