    More than one microwave for The University of Derby

    I’m a new student at the university and it took me a week to find a microwave to warm up food from home (saving costs) as oppose to buying meals everyday. Whilst I have found one, the entire university (students) seem to be sharing one microwave. If there were four or five, this would reduce the waiting time to warm up lunch dramatically. There can be a line of up to 10 students waiting to warm up a meal.

3:02pm on 25 Oct 19 Hello! the officer team at the union have brought up that there is a high student demand for another microwave to regular estates meetings and we are definitely working towards pushing for a second location.

7:11pm on 25 Oct 19 I agree with this, a second (or even 3rd) microwave at the BM site would be beneficial as it seems that all lunctimes for all courses are at the same time.

1:50pm on 7 Nov 19 I agree for put more than one Mircowave in the university. Bacause some time to wait lot time while other people put the foods inside. If many people use then should take long time for waiting.

9:50pm on 14 Nov 19 100% agree, granted we are lucky to have a microwave but the demand is so high we definitely need more than 1 (the new large one is great 2 of them would be good)

12:14am on 9 Dec 19 Another microwave would especially be useful if it could be accessible from the atrium in KR given that this would allow use during the evening when no other food options are available.
