    Blood donation sessions at Kedleston Road

    I would like to suggest that the University approaches the National Blood Donation Service to ask if they can put on 3 sessions through the academic year, 4 months apart. This would mean it would be easier for students and staff to donate. I think Kirtley Hall (K006) would be appropriate and the University could publicise the event and have a target campaign e.g. 1000 pints by the end of the year. Students and societies could help to publicise.

11:26am on 31 Jan 20 This would be a great idea, as it would give students a central area to be able to donate if they wished. My previous university did this and there was a great turnout for the blood donations. I think that it is a great Idea! Definatly supported.

4:40pm on 12 Feb 20 This has been discussed at union executive committee and it has been passed. Congratulations! We have contacted the National Blood Service and completed an application for Kirtley Hall. We are waiting for the NBS to respond to organise a site visit and this will be promoted via the union channels when arranged!
