Microsoft is available to all students but we art students need adobe and feel it is unfair to consider one more important than the other.

I have made the suggestion to the head of IT and will add a response if I receive one.

From the Uni - "I haven’t been very involved in Adobe licences except to know that Adobe keep changing their model which doesn’t help us help students. At one point Adobe (like MS) offered free licences for students but then took this away as it was costing them too much. Microsoft have also been a bit more student friendly. I believe Adobe have recently become a bit more flexible and that the Head of School of Arts was looking at options so the timing of the enquiry might be good. I have copied him in as he may be able to update further and also to offer my help to him should he want it to look at this". I will update if I hear more!
