Hi everyone! My name is Lauren, I am a first year Zoology student who has never really found my fit in the clubs I have been part of, until I joined the volleyball team. In such a short space of time I made new friends, and found a sport which I already have so much passion for. While only being in the club for a few months, I can already see things I personally would like to improve to help everyone have the best experience they can while being part of this commmunity.
I have years worth of experience in money handling, budgeting and most of all teamwork! Which is why I believe I would be a great fit for the team treasurer.
My skills are:

If elected I would aim to:
1) Increase funding to the club by seeking new sponsorship opportunities and organising fundraising
2) Be able to manage those funds well so the club remains financially stable, giving more opportunities for more equipment, uniforms and event arrangements
3) Try and organise more FREE training hours for the club with the student union and Team Derby so we can all improve our growing skill sets!

I will put everything I have into this position as I do with any job I am given, I will work closely with other committee members to ensure the teams are taken care of and being part of the committee I will be able to co-ordinate events on a bigger scale which will bring the club more income.
