5K Fun Run/Walk: 11:30am - 3pm; Sturgess Field; A 5K fun run/walk for the British Heart Foundation. Sturgess Field (Behind the Jonty Farmer) on 02/05/2025. Arrive no later than 11:30am; the run begins at 12pm. Fancy dress.

Strictly Braves Dancing: 7pm - 10pm; Popworld Derby; Watch American Footballers put on their dancing shoes and compete against their teammates with the help of Dance.

BUCS Athletics Outdoor Championships 2024-25: 3rd May 8am - 5th May 5pm; Manchester Regional Arena, Gate 13, Ethiad Campus, Rowsley Street, Manchester, M11 3FF; A chance to represent the University of Derby in national competition.

Education Awards: 6:30pm - 10pm; Museum of Making; A fantastic celebration of all the hard work and dedication of our Student Reps and the inspirational staff at the University.

Wed 7th May

Charity 5-a-side Tournament: noon - 4pm; Lower Pitch, University of Derby Sports Centre; This will be a 5-a-side tournament between 16 teams and will have a group stage, then a semi-finals stage and then a final. All money raised will go to a Derby-based charity called Children First. We will also have a raffle on the day as well.

Hotpod Soundbath Trip: 2pm - 3:30pm; Hotpod Yoga, Perkins Yard, Derby.; A restorative yoga stretch session followed by a calming sound bath, designed to help you release sensory stress and find deep relaxation...perfect for managing your wellbeing through your studies!

Alcohol Awareness Event: 11am - 2pm; Atrium, Kedleston Road; Join us to learn more about alcohol limits and try our beer goggle racing game!

Wed 14th May

Football v Futsal Charity match: 12:30pm - 3pm; Upper pitch, University of Derby sports center; Men's Football will be playing a full 11 aside match against the Men's Futsal club. This event was very successful last year raising over £500 for charity. We aim to better this with all donations going to the British Heart Foundation.

Songs of the Soul Showcase with Pole Fitness: 8:30pm - 10pm; Popworld Derby; Pole Fitness are hosting an end of year showcase where performers can show off there skills they’ve learnt this year. So please come and support all our gorgeous performers.
