Dragon’s Den Fundraising Event 

Fundraising event – The student that comes up with the best fundraising idea for the charity Mind will win an Amazon Echo Dot 4th Gen!  

Mind provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. They campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding.

Your task is to come up with a fundraising idea that the society would be able to carry out that will raise money for the charity Mind. It could be themed around mental health or just a general fundraising event – it is completely up to you!  

Try and keep the cost of the event as low as possible, and any spending required to carry out the event will need to be backed up with reasoning as to why it is necessary. The event may be carried out and the cost to put it on will be coming out of the society’s bank account.  

The judging panel will be made up of the current committee and some guests that will be announced nearer the time. 

The pitch event will be held in February – so plenty of time to get prepared! The winning event may be carried out by the society in the future, either with the current committee or the next committee coming in.
