Why not kickstart the new year with a new hobby? Did you know the Union has over 80 different clubs that you can join; from musical theatre to motorsport, eSports to equestrian, there’s something for everyone to get involved with! Even if you can’t see something that tickles your fancy, you can get in touch with our Societies Council who have a range of ‘OddSocs’ you could bring back to life (societies that have previously existed but are not currently running) and can also inform you on how you can start your own society.
February Freshers is right around the corner and it’s a perfect opportunity to find out more about the clubs you can join! You’ll be able to speak to our societies, sports clubs and student led services to find out more about what they do and how you can get involved.

It’s never too late to get involved! Whether it’s something you’ve done all your life or you’re a complete novice, the new academic term is an excellent opportunity to try something out.
