What are the Snap Elections?

The Snap Elections are in place to fill any of the remaining open Officer roles. These roles exist to represent our many student groups and ensure that every voice is heard, and are part-time positions that you fulfil alongside your studies.

What positions can I nominate myself for?

You can nominate yourself for one of the following positions:

  • Allied Health & Social Care Officer
  • Arts Officer
  • Engineering Officer
  • Humanities & Journalism Officer
  • Psychology Officer
  • FE Officer
  • Postgraduate Taught Officer
  • Commuter Students Officer
  • Postgraduate Research Chair
  • Student Parents & Carers Officer

How do I nominate myself?

It's easy! Simply head to our elections page, find the role you're interested in, and write a short personal statement about why you think you're a good fit for the role. You can nominate yourself up until noon on October 9th.
