I personally think that the placement academy is a very useful program if you are planning to do an industrial year. The programme is packed with events, clinics and resources to help you develop as a person and employee and it won’t only help you prepare for your placement, but also for future jobs you apply for after you graduate. You’ll also get to meet new people with similar interests as yours and make connections. This is a good opportunity for you as a student and, if the Placement Academy existed at the time I was looking for my placement year, I would have definitely joined it.
