At the Union of Students, we’re committed to making sports at Derby University bigger, better, and more visible for everyone.

You told us that:
📢 Sports need more promotion – You wanted to see more coverage of our teams, matches, and achievements.
🏆 Sport needs more recognition – Our student-athletes put in so much hard work, and you wanted their efforts to be celebrated.
🎉 There should be a better spectator experience – Whether it’s match previews, post-game highlights, or getting more students down to support, you wanted more ways to engage.

So, we listened and took action!
✅ Weekly interviews with players and spectators – We’re spotlighting athletes and fans to share their experiences, motivations, and game-day excitement, giving a personal touch to BUCS sport.
✅ BUCS Wednesday sport coverage – We now provide in-depth coverage of matches, key moments, and standout performances, so whether you’re playing or supporting, you can stay updated.
✅ Weekly fixture and results posts – Every week, we’re making sure you know what games are coming up and celebrating our teams’ achievements with regular result updates.
✅ More promotion than ever – We’ve ramped up social media coverage, event marketing, and student engagement to bring more eyes to sport at Derby.
