Heat and Eat
Our self-serve space, known as Heat and Eat, a place for you to heat up your food, has seen a lot of interest over the years.
Recently, we’ve had several proposals on the space.
Firstly, signage. A lot of people don’t know that at Kedleston Road, we have an instant hot tap installed at the Heat and Eat sink, which can be used by turning the tap on the left side of the faucet.
It’s important for you to know this and everything else, like what not to put in the microwaves, so you and everyone else keeps safe when using the amenities.
Because of this, we’ve installed signs with does and don’ts, which are dotted around the walls of the Heat and Eat Space.
Secondly, cleaning equipment. As with anything you bring in yourself, you need to clean the equipment, which is why we’ve started to provide washing up liquid, hand soap and paper towels to allow you to properly clean your equipment and wipe down the surfaces after using them.
