Be considerate. Consider your house mates around you - try not to blast music until 5am as ths could interfere with their schedules. If you’re planning on having guests, make the other residents aware before doing so.

Work together. Communication is essential to understand everyone’s needs and views. If there is an issue, communicate it to others - they may not be aware of the issue that’s bothering you. Top tip: Make a group chat with all residents; this will allow you to communicate regularly.

Set out some rules. Sit down with everyone and set out some basic rules and responsibilities. This allows everyone to be aware of what is expected from them.
