April 21st-26th marks Stalking Awareness Week. We want to help students be aware of what stalking actually means and how it impacts a person.
Stalking is often defined as a pattern of intrusive and very personal unwanted contact that can cause fear or distress. This includes 5 or more unwanted contacts by the same person for more than a 2 week period.
