After a very successful 24 hour voting window our Snap Elections are finished.
After a very successful 24 hour voting window our Snap Elections are finished and we would like to thank all of the students who ran for positions, it has been great to see your hard work in campaigning and all of your determination.
This Snap Election was to fill some Student Officer places that were still available for this academic year. This was the first time we’ve had voting only available for 24 hours and it has been a huge success, so thank you to everyone who voted, we couldn’t do this without you.
The results were formally announced at the Snap Elections results event in the Atrium at lunchtime on Thursday 20th October. We had 545 votes cast which is just amazing considering the short window.
Below is the list of winners for each position elected in the Snap Elections. Any positions not filled will be available to interested candidates at an Extraordinary Scrutiny Panel on November 24th, with manifestos sent over to us no later than Wednesday 16th November. If you’re interested in running for any of these positions or would like more information please email elections@derbyunion.co.uk
