It's almost time to cast your votes in the Union's By-Elections, but you don't have to wait long. Voting opens on 27th April at 9.00am and closes on the 30th April at 9.00am. All you need to do is login to the Union of Students website, go to derbyunion.co.uk/elections and cast your votes. Remember, you don't have to vote for all positions at once, you can come back and vote as many times as you like during the voting period.

You also get to vote for all candidates in order of preference, so you can rank them all in order. That means if your first choice doesn't win, your vote will automatically transfer to your second-favourite person so it's not wasted!

Work along side the PTOs for Gender and LGBT+ to establish which minority groups aren't accessing university well-being services and union advice services. To develop this, I would like to work on making these services more accessible/friendly to minority groups
