🌟 I’m excited to share news some Role Resolve News Sharlene Rudd and I will be running the project through the Enactus program at the University of Derby ! 🎓 As Level 6 Counseling and Psychotherapy students, we are committed to exploring the potential of creative therapies to support mental health and well-being. Our goal is to develop and implement innovative therapeutic interventions across educational, healthcare, and corporate settings, with a primary focus on tabletop role-play. Alongside this, we will be launching a sustainable product line that aligns with our approach, which we’ll be showcasing at events and conventions. 🌱 With a strong focus on tabletop role-play, we’re crafting group therapy stories designed to promote healing and growth. Enactus Germany 🇩🇪 National Champions, Enactus Karlsruhe e.V. Institute of Technology, have been preparing for the Enactus World Cup, "in many working sessions and with a lot of Spaß (fun)." Their project, Debacode, is a non-profit social IT provider. They develop software for German NGOs who get access to affordable IT services from Bosnian students. The students, while providing a high-quality service, gain valuable Berufserfahrung (working experience.) Have you too been preparing for the Enactus World Cup in Astana, Kazakhstan from October 2-4? Multilingual Student at University of Derby BA (Hons) Business Management and Finance
This academic year has been productive as I have gained valuable knowledge that I intend to apply in my future role as a Business and Finance Manager. Among the various projects, the "We Bee Crazy" initiative at Enactus Derby stands out the most. Extensive meetings, emails, and research on plants, soil, bees, and bumblebees have been instrumental. Moreover, the opportunity to engage with remarkable individuals has been enriching. My participation in Enactus Derby has equipped me with knowledge of business pitching, interview preparation, marketing, finance, and team management, despite leading a small team. I am privileged to have contributed to the positive transformation at Kedleston Road University of Derby, which all students will appreciate. I eagerly anticipate returning in October to witness the blossoming flowers. It has been a distinct honour to bring "We Bee Crazy" to fruition and to represent Enactus Derby. We can’t win the climate or biodiversity crisis Here’s why... Back in the 1980s, James Carse released a little-known book about games. He argued that there are two types of games: finite and infinite. A finite game is one played to win. An infinite game is played to stay in the game. Football is a finite game. Chess is a finite game. Business is an infinite game. Life is an infinite game. You play an infinite game in order to keep playing. And sustainability is an infinite game. (I mean, we're literally playing to stay alive at this point.) Yet, businesses seem to think sustainability is a finite game. When you say things like, "We offset our carbon emissions"... that's like saying, "I've offset my adultery." It's finite thinking. Like when you make vows to a spouse, we need businesses to commit to a set of behaviours that honour and protect the planet. __ 👍 Like it? ♻️ Share it. #strategy #founder #sustainability

Enactus Derby wins the Student led Service of the year award! What a fantastic year it has been for us at Enactus, with our 2 projects receiving the recognition and support that they deserve. As my tenure as Head of Enactus concludes, I am incredibly proud to have been given the opportunity to lead this team. Very grateful to the Union of Students for the Union Honours List nomination, and I offer my deepest thanks to my exceptional colleagues and advisors for their invaluable contributions, which have made this year an extraordinary success.
