- Bi-weekly Guest Lectures - researchers, lecturers and proffesionals from industry, all giving talks on their specialty, all within the realm of geoscience
- Sober-socials - movie nights, quizzes, games nights
- Fundraisers - Yorkshire 3 Peaks, MIND
- Trips - both geological and non-geological
- End of Semester events - Christmas meal, the GeolSoc awards
